CULTURE GATE to JAPAN gathers some of the talented artists and creators active in the field of Media Arts (Media Art, Animation, Games, and Manga) to showcase their works in seven airports across Japan. Each artwork has been created to introduce a unique aspect of Japanese culture. The theme of the exhibition at Haneda Airport and Narita Airport are “VISON GATE”. Under the curation of Paola ANTONELLI, this exhibit seeks to explore the concept of “vision” from past to future, and its role as the foundation of Japanese culture.
